Aerotow meeting 6,7,8 November « Thread Started on Oct 23, 2009, 8:18am »
Aerotow meeting on at Matamata airfield Waharoa from Friday afternoon then Saturday and Sunday all day. Rob Johnston and Dominic Sharland have a 1/3 Piper Cub with 3W 120 which should launch even the biggest 1/3 scale gliders, also 1/4 Cub and should be a Wilga and others towing and a mixture of gliders from 1/3 scale down. Doesn't have to be scale to be towed- come and have a try- fit a simple tow hook activated by full left or right rudder in any thermal soarer.
